On the Device −

Select Fax/Scan button −

Scan Settings -

File Type - Choose your preferred new file type -

OK - OK -

Utility Counter -

Option (2) User Settings -

Option (4) Scan/Fax Settings - Default Fax/Scan Settings - Current Settings - OK - OK - Close to exit
